Welcome to World-Piracha-Forum
The World-Piracha-Forum is created to bring together estimated one million plus members of the Piracha community, spread all over the world, to interact with one another by sharing thoughts, creative ideas and personal and professional information. Today, the members of the Piracha community are engaged in trade and industry, armed forces, civil service, politics, social work and a variety of professions.
The members of the Piracha community originate from the home towns of Makhad Shareef, Bhera, Rawalpindi, Kohat, Lahore, Shahpur, Nowshera, Khurram Agency, Delhi and so on. Maybe, there are other places, too and I would love to know them.
The word 'piracha' is spelled differently in different parts of the Indo-Pak subcontinent. Some write it as 'peracha', some as 'paracha' and some as 'pracha'. Probably, the difference emanates from the dialect or the language pitch of the areas from where individual families originate. The most common spellings are probably 'piracha' and 'paracha'. Maybe, there are other spellings also and I would be glad to be made aware of them.
The historical origins of the Piracha community are yet to be traced and documented. There are historical traces of the community being originated in the Arab lands, notably Yemen. It will be a great service to the community if somebody comes up with documented evidence about the historical origins of the community.
As for my introduction, I belong to the Piracha community originating from Makhad Shareef in district Attock of the Punjab province. I am the son of late Faiz Muhammad Piracha and grandson of late Haji Noor Muhammad Piracha. I did graduation in arts from Forman Christian College, Lahore and master's in business education from Punjab University.
I whole-heartedly welcome the members of the Piracha community to the World-Piracha-Forum and look ahead to their active and sustained participation in the Forum with their valued comments on the forum or email to me.
Have a nice day!
